Nicky Rodriguez, LMT, CST

As the founder of Whole Human Wellness, my mission is to listen to the unique story of each individual body to provide personalized holistic health treatment for every client. I utilize a wide range of techniques to ground and center the mind into the body, allowing them to work together in harmony. With a passion for knowledge, I am devoted to growing and learning as much as I can to best serve my clients.

For many years, I wanted to be a psychotherapist so that I could help people find safety within their bodies. I studied psychology, philosophy, and art at Portland Community College, with a plan to pursue my Master’s and PsyD. However, as my relationship with physical pain progressed, I began to understand the healing power of touch, and I learned the importance of releasing the physical aspects of trauma that our body hangs on to.

I feel it is important to get a little more personal because of the journey my body and I have walked. When I was growing up, I dealt with chronic joint pain, GERD, and eventually IBS, each of which was somewhat successfully mitigated with diet and lifestyle changes. When I was in my early 20s, finally gaining control over my IBS, my whole body started to go through something I couldn’t wrap my head around. I desperately sought out medical help but was turned away by more professionals than I’d care to admit. Eventually, I found a doctor who took my invisible illness seriously and diagnosed me with hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. As troublesome as that diagnosis was to digest at 23, it was an answer that allowed me to begin my healing journey. When I began “unpacking my bags,” I learned how much trauma I had from the medical industry, how afraid I was to be touched by anyone, and how ready I was to let all of that go.

The journey my body and I have been on has been long, but it graciously led me to the Colorado School of Healing Arts, where I studied a variety of massage modalities, and learned how to actually use my body. I graduated from CSHA in 2024, with a passion for working with the nervous system. My style is slow and methodical, taking the time to listen to the unique needs of every body, to reach the deepest levels of healing.

I would love to help your body find "Home" again!
